BRUNSWICK–A Boothbay Harbor man was taken to the hospital this morning after his sedan crashed into an oncoming U-Haul truck on Pleasant Street, police said.

According to the Brunswick Police Department, John Ramsey, 40, was driving south on Pleasant Street near the intersection of Robinson Avenue around 7 a.m. when his car crossed the center line and collided with a northbound U-Haul truck. The U-Haul was carrying another pickup, police said.

Ramsey was sent to Parkview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The driver of the U-Haul, Gary Johnson, 62, of Woolwich, was treated at the scene.

Three lanes of Pleasant Street were closed for more than an hour while police investigated the crash. Both cars sustained extensive front-end damage.

Brunswick Police said the crash is still under investigation.
