About 100 customers of the Jay Village Water District have been told to boil their water this weekend following a water main break Friday on Smith Avenue.
Crews worked overnight Friday to repair the water main, which is more than 50 years old.
Although water service was returned Saturday, residents have been advised to boil their water for a few more days until water quality test results show the water is safe, said water district superintendent Mike Wells.
Wells said the test results should be concluded by Monday.
