A “Dine Out Day” will be held in Biddeford and its surrounding communities on Thursday, Aug. 7 to benefit Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center, a nonprofit center that offers meals, a career resource center, a nonfood essentials pantry, and programs in nutrition, financial literacy and general health.
Several restaurants in the area have offered to donate proceeds from some of Thursday’s sales to Seeds of Hope. The Chef and the Gardener in Saco will be donating dessert proceeds for the entire week. Here are the other participating restaurants:
Buffleheads in Hills Beach – lunch.
Elements in Biddeford – coffee.
Fernleaf Bakery in Saco – lunch.
FO Goldthwaite’s in Biddeford Pool – all day.
Golden Rooster in Saco – breakfast to 11 a.m.
Run of the Mill in Saco Island – lunch.
Wonderbar in Biddeford – dinner.
Dahlia’s Delights in Biddeford and Traditions in Saco are donating gift certificates to Seeds of Hope.
