BANGOR — Police say a Bangor man is charged with assaulting a woman and leaving her with serious head injuries.
WABI-TV reports that officers were called to an apartment complex on Essex Street early Monday morning.
The woman was taken to the hospital.
Police say 34-year old Joshua Cole was taken into custody and charged with elevated aggravated assault.
Police say they’ll release more information later in the day.
