Watching Angus King and Eliot Cutler cavort on TV left me with just one thought: Here we go again.

Both gentlemen displayed monstrous egos without an ounce of common sense.

Their self-serving instructions about what is good for Maine was demeaning and insulting to Maine voters and can have only one significant result: the re-election of Paul LePage. Mr. LePage must be chortling with glee after the King-Cutler performance.

The advice given by King and Cutler is not in the best interest of Maine but instead feeds their unhealthy and dangerous kingmaker complexes.

If Mr. LePage is re-elected this fall, I hope people remember we have Mr. King and Mr. Cutler to thank.
