Bill Payne of Marlton, New Jersey, scored a hole-in-one at Great Chebeague Golf Club on Aug. 10. Payne used a 9-iron for the 110-yard shot on the sixth hole. The feat was witnessed by Hayes MacArthur.

Cindy Smith recorded her first hole-in-one on Aug. 18 at Spring Meadows Golf Club. Smith aced the 108-yard sixth hole, using a 9-wood. Her husband, Steve Smith, witnessed the shot.

Rick Placey used a pitching wedge to make a hole-in-one Aug. 18 on the 120-yard 16th hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course. The shot was witnessed by Ken Blauvelt.

Joanna McGee aced the 13th hole at The Woodlands Club on Aug. 20. McGee used a 7-iron for the 105-yard shot, which was witnessed by Tony Wilkins.

Josh Katz of Brunswick Golf Club carded a hole-in-one on the 144-yard second hole during a Maine State Golf Association tournament at Waterville Country Club. His playing partners were Wally Martin, Dick Hachey and Terry Caswell.

Dick Record aced the 91-yard second hole at Springbrook Golf Club on Aug. 24. Record used a sand wedge for the shot, which was witnessed by Rick Record and Matthew Record.
