HAMDEN, Conn. — Hamden police say a vehicle believed to be driven by someone who may have threatened President Barack Obama has been located and a person involved was taken into custody.

Hamden police, Connecticut State Police and Secret Service converged on the car outside an ice rink on Friday night.

The Secret Service took an unidentified suspect into custody for questioning after tracking his cell phone.

Nicole Mainor, spokeswoman for the Secret Service, said Sunday that no arrests have been made or charges brought.

No details, such as the nature of the threat, have been released.

Air Force One arrived at Westchester County Airport on Friday before heading to fundraising and other events in New York’s Westchester County.

Obama traveled to Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island, Friday evening.
