Paul LePage was not my choice for governor in 2010, but he won the election and deserved to have a chance to improve conditions for the people of Maine and the state in general.

Almost immediately he fired a “shot across the bow” with the removal of the Labor Department mural, and things have gone downhill from there.

Most people disagree with his divisive style, and the changes he has made are unpopular with the majority of voters. LePage’s policies have cost all of us real opportunities and real money.

The governor has embarrassed Maine and managed it poorly, but for me, the biggest regret is a moral issue: Paul LePage’s willingness to openly lie about anything.

You can evaluate and act on any information rationally, except lies. Mike Michaud tells the truth and would be a better, more inclusive governor than LePage. The truth will be refreshing.
