Mary Allen, Oceanside, junior, forward: She was the Mariners’ second-leading scorer last year with eight goals (four game-winners) and two assists.

Elizabeth Coughlin, North Yarmouth Academy, senior, goalie: A four-year starter, she has developed into one of the top goalies in the state. Quick on her feet with great anticipation.

Kerigan Demers, Westbrook, senior, center halfback: The vocal leader of the Blazes. She is a returning starter who plays a key role at both ends of the field.

Mary DiPietro, Cape Elizabeth, senior, goalie: A four-year starter for the Capers, DiPietro has developed into one of the best in the conference. She moves and communicates well and challenges the shooters.

Maddy Dobecki, Scarborough, senior, midfielder: A returning all-state selection, she controls the midfield with her stick skills and field sense. Also scored 12 goals last year.

Meg Dowd, Camden Hills, senior, midfielder: Dowd combines speed and skill to control the middle for the Windjammers. Instrumental both in transition offense and penalty corners.

Livy Golini, York, senior, goalie: She allowed only three goals in 2013, helping the Wildcats reach the Class B state championship game. Had 11 shutouts.

Kallie Hutchinson, Yarmouth, senior, midfielder: Hutchinson led the Clippers in goals last year and provides stability in the middle of the field.

Allison L’Heureux, Sanford, junior, center midfielder: She’s played in the midfield on the sides the last two years and moves to the middle. Good stick skills and field vision.

Michelle Medici, South Portland, senior, defender: A four-year varsity player, she is the leader of a young Riots defense. Strong stick skills have enabled her to make many defensive saves.

Kristen Murray, Scarborough, senior, forward: Scored a team-high 21 goals last year for the Red Storm and gives them a dangerous threat every time she has the ball in the circle.

Abbie Paquette, Biddeford, senior, center midfield: A four-year starter for the Tigers, Paquette plays a huge role both offensively and defensively. She has the ability to break up a rush and quickly turn it into an offensive charge.

Grace Pickering, Thornton Academy, junior, center midfielder: Strong overall skills with great field sense. Pickering controls the midfield area for the Trojans.

Lindsey Poirier, Marshwood, senior, midfielder: A returning all-state selection starting her fourth year for the Hawks, Poirier had 17 goals and four assists last season.

Libby Pomerleau, Thornton Academy, junior, forward: Led the Trojans with 14 goals and two assists last year. Great offensive skills not only in the circle but in handling the ball.

Marina Poole, North Yarmouth Academy, senior, midfielder/forward: She has played on the varsity team for four years, with 18 goals over the last two seasons. Strong stick skills.

Lily Posternak, York, sophomore, forward/midfielder: Already a member of the U.S. U-17 national team, Posternak is a returning all-state selection. She scored 12 goals and added 13 assists last year.

Abby Scott-Mitchell, Lake Region, senior, forward: One of the Lakers’ top scorers last year, she is expected to be a leader on what looks to be a young Lake Region team.

Charlotte Smith, Gorham, senior, right wing: A returning all-state selection, she is a heady player with strong field skills. Smith had six goals and six assists last year.

Abigail Staples, Massabesic, junior, center midfielder: A highly skilled player who will control the tempo of game for the Mustangs. Smart, with good stick skills and able to transition ball quickly.

Katie Taylor, Noble, senior, center midfielder: A returning all-state selection, she controls the tempo of the game for the Knights with her stick skills and game presence.

Jackie Thorbjornson, Oceanside, senior, center midfielder: An all-state selection, she had two goals and 13 assists in seven games before suffering a torn ACL. Healthy again, she’s one of state’s top players.

Hattie Train, Cheverus, senior, right wing: A strong goal scorer for the Stags last year, she’ll be counted on for even more this year.

Abby Walker, Scarborough, senior, forward: Scored seven goals last year for the Red Storm and is regarded as one of the most skilled players in the conference.
