THOMASTON
Taste of Thomaston food festival vendors sought
Knox Museum is seeking vendors to participate in its second annual Taste of Thomaston food and wine festival scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 11 on the grounds of Montpelier.
Taste of Thomaston is a festival celebrating everything local, featuring signature bites and sips from midcoast Maine’s finest chefs, vintners and brewers, cheesemakers, bakers and specialty food and beverage artisans.
The Knox Museum hopes to fill two tents with vendors and entertainment, and increase the number of outside vendors.
Vendors inside the tent will be provided with booth space, water and electricity, as well as the opportunity to work side-by-side with noted fellow chefs and food artisans.
In turn, vendors are asked to provide complimentary tastes of their signature dishes and products to about 600 guests. They can also sell gift certificates and packaged products.
Some outside booth space on the grounds surrounding the tents for craftspeople is also available for rental on a case-by-case basis as space allows.
For more information or to reserve a booth, call Tobin Malone at 354-8062 or e-mail at info@knoxmuseum.org.
