BIDDEFORD — Aly Atherton and Emma Koukos scored second-half goals and Scarborough shut out Biddeford 2-0 in an SMAA girls’ soccer game Saturday morning.

Atherton broke the scoreless deadlock early in the second half, and Koukos added a goal 10 minutes later.

Biddeford keeper Anna Marie Seiler kept the Tigers (1-1-1) in the game with 16 saves. Molly Leconte had five saves for Scarborough (3-0).

WINDHAM 7, WESTBROOK 0: Melissa Morton scored three goals to lead the Eagles (3-0) over the Blue Blazes (0-3) in Windham.

Jenna Soucy added two goals and an assist, while Katie Herzig and Maggie Symonds each had a goal and an assist.

Windham goalie Elizabeth Mycock did not have to make a save as the Eagles held a 32-0 edge in shots. Brianna Barlow recorded 25 saves for the Blue Blazes.

POLAND 4, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Katriana Pratt scored three goals and Haley Whitworth made nine saves as the Knights (1-1) shut out the Seagulls (0-2-1) in Poland.

Nathalie Theriault contributed a goal and an assist. Marissa Zink assisted on two goals and Jessie Quint had one assist.

CAPE ELIZABETH 10, LAKE REGION 0: Mariah Deschino had three goals, and Kathryn Clark two, as the Capers (2-2) dominated Lake Region (2-2) in Cape Elizabeth.

Katherine Briggs, Tori Diaz, Kate Breed, Kirsten Rudberg and Lindsay Stewart also scored.

CONY 0, LAWRENCE 0: Lauren Wadleigh made saves for Lawrence and Autumn Sudsbury had 13 for Cony as the teams settled for a scoreless draw in Fairfield.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 6, TELSTAR 0: Sidney Wilson and Emily Grandahl each scored two goals to lead the Mustangs (4-0) over the Rebels (0-3) in Bethel.

BOYS’ SOCCER

BONNY EAGLE 3, SANFORD 0: Ryan Moody knocked in a header off a corner kick, converted a penalty kick and set up the final goal as the Scots (2-1) beat the Spartans (1-2) at Sanford.

Zack Gryskwicz’s corner kick set up Moody’s first goal. Ben Steeves scored the third goal.

Jeff Martin made 15 saves for the shutout.

FALMOUTH 0, GREELY 0: Greely keeper John Wright made nine saves on 13 shots to hold up his end of a scoreless tie, at Falmouth. Both teams are now 2-0-1 on the season.

Jesse Melchiskey made seven saves for Falmouth.

WELLS 4, FREEPORT 3: Liam Belle scored a pair of goals to lead the Warriors (2-2) past the Falcons (0-2-1) in Wells.

Hatim Sharaf and TJ Wright contributed a goal apiece for Wells. Freeport got two goals from Jack Davenport and one from Caleb Abbott.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 5, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Jordan Kruguer had a goal and two assists for the Raiders (1-2) in a victory against Traip (0-3) in Fryeburg.

Kruguer set up Ben Darling to open the scoring five minutes into the game. Kruguer added an unassisted goal after a score by Ben Leconey to make it 3-0 at the half.

Nacho Calleja and Max Kumer added second-half goals.

Fryeburg keepers Teodor Antelj and Joe Leburn had three saves each. Traip’s Blue Clark stopped six shots.

FIELD HOCKEY

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, LAKE REGION 1: Goals by Taylor Young and Hannah Bosworth gave the Capers (3-2) a 2-0 lead before Olivia Deschenes scored for Lake Region (3-2) midway through the second half in Cape Elizabeth.

Mary DiPietro made six saves for Cape Elizabeth. Meghan VanLoan blocked eight shots for the Lakers.

MT. VIEW 1, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Emily Raven scored with 3:58 left in regulation as Camden Hills (0-3-1) earned a tie against Mt. View (1-1-2) in Thorndike.

Mt. View took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Renna Boulay scored off a corner kick by Ellie Peaslee.

LAWRENCE 9, BRUNSWICK 0: Lauren Watson had a hat trick and two assists as Lawrence (5-0) beat Brunswick in Fairfield.

Domi Lewis added two goals and two assists and McKenna Rogers also chipped in with two goals. Hallee Parlin and Lauren Lambert contributed a goal apiece, while Caprice Dahm picked up a pair of assists.

SKOWHEGAN 8, MT. ARARAT 0: Lauren LeBlanc, Renee Wright and Brooke Michonski each scored two goals to lead the Indians (4-1) over the Eagles (0-5) in Skowhegan.

Michonski also had three assists. Cassidy Clement and Rylie Blanchet added a goal apiece.

Haley Frizzle made 22 saves for Mt. Ararat.

GARDINER 4, MARANACOOK 0: Lilly Chepke scored three goals – all in the first half – to lift the Tigers (3-0-1) to a victory in Readfield.

Grace Kelly also scored, and Kaylin Mansir had five saves to earn the shutout.

CONY 6, LEWISTON 1: Cari Hopkins scored three goals and had an assist to lead the Rams (4-1) over the Blue Devils (1-4) in Lewiston.

Arika Brochu contributed two goals and an assist, and Lindsay Watts added a goal. Delaney Keithley and Molly Silsby each had an assist.

FOOTBALL

DIRIGO 14, OAK HILL 6: Joe Casey returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown, starting the visiting Cougars (2-0) on their way to a win over the defending Class D state champions (1-1).

Riley Robinson added a 3-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Oak Hill’s touchdown was a 77-yard screen pass from Dalton Therrien to Alex Mace in the third quarter.
