Tryouts for the Libby-Mitchell American Legion baseball teams for the summer 2015 season have been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday at Scarborough High School. The tryout is for Scarborough High and Cape Elizabeth High players wishing to play American Legion baseball for Libby-Mitchell. Players should bring a glove, hat and spikes, and show up ready to play. Players also should bring the original copy of their birth certificate and also have time to fill out a tryout information form. The Old Town Rotary Club will hold its annual charity golf tournament at Hidden Meadows Golf Course at 9 a.m. Saturday with a shotgun start. The tournament is a four-person scramble. The team entry fee is $200. Individuals may register for $50. Entry forms are available at the golf course or at Gossamer Press in Old Town. The proceeds from the event will benefit Sarah’s House and other Rotary charities.
