YARMOUTH — Payton Humphrey scored the equalizer for York on a direct kick with three minutes left in regulation as the Wildcats rallied to tie Yarmouth 1-1 in a Western Maine Conference girls’ soccer match Saturday.

Yarmouth (3-1-1) opened the scoring eight minutes into the game when Lane Simsarian scored on an assist from Cory Langenbach.

Emma Rohrer made nine saves for York (3-1-1). Yarmouth keeper Shannon Fallon stopped three shots.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 2, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Abby Dubois scored twice for Old Orchard Beach (1-3-2), but NYA (0-5-1) got a goal late in regulation to secure a draw at Yarmouth.

Taylor Leech scored in the first half for NYA, and Scout Fischman made seven saves.

Lauralee Small and Brianna Plante each had an assist for OOB. Seagulls keeper Tiffany Leclair finished with six saves.

SCARBOROUGH 6, SANFORD 0: Katherine Kirk scored three goals to pace the Red Storm (4-1) past the Spartans (2-3) at Scarborough.

Gabriella Panagakos added a goal and an assist. Scarborough also got a goal apiece from Ashley Perriello and Ashley Gleason.

GORHAM 3, WESTBROOK 0: Cady Houghton converted Meghan Perrin’s corner kick 10 minutes into the game to start the Rams (4-1) on their way to a win over the Blue Blazes (0-5) in Westbrook.

Lizzie Sullivan scored from Kate Hopkins four minutes after Houghton’s goal. Jenny Darasz, with an assist from Perrin, scored midway through the second half.

Gorham keeper Renae Staples had four saves. Westbrook’s Brianna Barlow stopped seven shots.

MARSHWOOD 2, MASSABESIC 0: Sydney Jackman and Marin Smith scored on assists from Reagan Nichols as the Hawks (5-0-1) edged the Mustangs (1-4) at Waterboro.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0, POLAND 0: Haley Whitworth made 13 saves to help Poland (1-3-1) secure a tie against the visiting Raiders (1-2-2).

Fryeburg keeper Makayla Cooper finished with three saves.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 2, LISBON 2: Monmouth (6-0-1) rallied twice from one-goal deficits and settled for a tie against the Greyhounds (5-0-1) at Lisbon Falls.

Lisbon took a 2-1 lead on Deliah Schreiber’s second goal, but Haley Fletcher’s goal forced overtime.

Monmouth’s Sidney Wilson tied the game at 1-1 early in the second half.

Alexandra Sult made 30 saves for Lisbon, which was outshot 40-5.

WATERVILLE 5, MCI 0: Jordan Jabar had two goals and Lydia Roy recorded three assists as the Panthers (5-0) rolled past the Huskies (3-2) at Pittsfield.

Pilar Elias, Sarah Shoulta and Mackenzie St. Pierre also scored.

BOYS’ SOCCER

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, PORTLAND 1: Dalton Moore’s penalty kick slipped just under the bar for the go-ahead goal with 4:47 remaining as the Trojans (3-1-2) beat the Bulldogs (2-3-1) in Portland.

Simon Treka added an insurance goal with 3:14 to play.

Alex Arnold scored for Thornton in the first half, and Jonathan Bobe scored for Portland.

Thornton keeper Andrew Coleman stopped three shots. Portland’s Bob Brittingham made four saves.

FALMOUTH 1, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: RJ Sarka scored the equalizer for the Capers (3-1-1) on an assist from Nicolai Sabbatini with 1:35 left in the first half as they played to a tie against Falmouth (3-0-2) at Cape Elizabeth.

Falmouth took a 1-0 lead 29:44 into the game when Ben Wuesthoff scored with an assist from John McConnell.

Andrew Kelly made six saves for the Capers. Jesse Melchiskey stopped six shots for the Yachtsmen.

YARMOUTH 3, YORK 1: Adam LaBrie headed home Walter Conrad’s corner kick for the tiebreaking goal 14 minutes into the second half, lifting the Clippers (4-1) over the Wildcats (2-3) in Yarmouth.

Connor Lainey added a goal on a direct kick six minutes later.

The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead three minutes into the game when Mike Bennett scored on the only shot Yarmouth keeper Alex Lyon faced. LaBrie tied the game late in the half.

Connor Smith had 11 saves for York.

SOUTH PORTLAND 6, NOBLE 0: Ahmed Suja recorded two goals and three assists to lead the Red Riots (2-2-1) over the Knights (1-4) in South Portland.

Kervens Antoine added two goals and an assist. Tristan Campbell and Gary Maietta also scored, and Henry Curran had seven saves for South Portland.

WESTBROOK 2, MASSABESIC 0: Omar Muhammed scored an unassisted goal in the first half, and Gradi Lapika put in his own rebound in the second half as the Blue Blazes (3-1-2) beat the Mustangs (0-5) at Waterboro.

D.J. Hendrikson made four saves for the shutout. Massabesic’s Tyler Stinson stopped five shots.

DEERING 5, WINDHAM 2: Hishalm Ramadan scored three goals to lead the Rams (5-0-1) past the Eagles (0-5) at Portland.

Paulo DeMarco and Abdul Azeez Kalayaf added a goal apiece for Deering. DeMarco also collected an assist.

Windham got goals from Josh Dugas and Brandon Drouin.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1, POLAND 1: Jordan Kruguer scored off a defender to give Fryeburg (1-2-2) a lead midway through the first half, but Alex Bryon countered for Poland midway through the second half.

Zachary Lowe had six saves for the Knights. Will Zeliss stopped four shots for Fryeburg.

MORSE 3, BELFAST 0: The Shipbuilders (1-3-1) got a goal apiece from Perry Chase, Lucas Brown and Alec Beveridge in a win over the Lions (0-5) at Belfast.

Chase opened the scoring off a Garrett Robson corner kick. Brown’s goal was a header assisted by Trevor Drouin, and Beveridge converted a penalty kick after Oskar Matero was fouled in the box.

Morse keeper Alex Fernald recorded nine saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

WELLS 1, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Maddie Moulison’s goal with less than four minutes remaining gave the Warriors (3-3) a win over the Hawks (3-3) at Wells.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Marina Poole scored a pair of goals and also had an assist to lead the Panthers (6-1) past the Rangers (2-5-1) at Yarmouth.

Charlotte Eisenberg added a goal and an assist. NYA goalie Elizabeth Coughlin made one save.

Traip’s Taylor Kashmer finished with six saves.

GARDINER 4, LEAVITT 1: Sarah Morgan had a goal and two assists for the Tigers (6-0-1) in a win over the Hornets (4-2-1) at Gardiner.

Nickyia Lovely and Abby Dyer each added a goal and an assist, and Grace Kelley also scored.

Ashley Mathieu scored for Leavitt.

MCI 4, CAMDEN HILLS 2: Kali Doiron scored two goals and April McAlpine had two assists, and the Huskies (4-3) scored twice in the final 12 minutes to top the Windjammers (2-4) at Pittsfield.

Addi Williams broke a 2-2 tie with 11:28 remaining, then Doiron added an insurance goal with 6:09 left.

Meg Dowd and Karrah York each had a goal for Camden Hills.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 3, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: Nicole Wilson tallied a pair of goals to power Erskine (4-2-1) to a win in South China.

Christina Hodgins contributed a goal and an assist, and Audrey Jordan also scored for Erskine.

Sophie Carbonneau scored for Lincoln (4-2-1) off an assist from Maggie Weiss.

MT. VIEW 7, WATERVILLE 0: Reanna Boulay scored three goals as the Mustangs (3-2-2) defeated the Purple Panthers (0-7) in Waterville.

Austyn Thomas added a goal and an assist. Kersey Boulay, Megan Mikel and Risa Fox each had one goal.
