MILLINOCKET – Two people have been injured in a small plane crash in northern Maine.
Millinocket’s deputy fire chief says the department was called around 9:15 Friday night to help respond to the crash that took place about 60 miles north of Telos Checkpoint in Township 5, R11.
He says one of the men was already bandaged when rescue crews arrived and he refused transport to the hospital. He says he doesn’t think the other man was seriously injured.
He told WLBZ-TV that Maine State Police and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash.
