WATERBORO — Charlotte White scored a pair of goals as Biddeford jumped to a three-goal lead and held on to beat Massabesic 3-2 in a Western A field hockey game Monday afternoon.

White opened the scoring with 6:27 left in the first half and Abbie Paquette added a goal for the Tigers four minutes later.

Emma Rutledge got the Mustangs on the board with seven minutes left and Mackenzie Croteau added a goal 1:19 later to cut the deficit to 3-2.

CHEVERUS 2, DEERING 2: Charlotte Noyes scored the tying goal for Cheverus (6-0-1) midway through the second half and neither the Stags nor Rams (3-1-2) could gain an edge through double overtime in an SMAA game at Deering.

Piesy Chhorn and Kaytlin DiBiase both scored for the Rams. Amanda Jimenez scored the Stags’ other goal.

GORHAM 9, MCAULEY 0: Mary Adams and Kayli Leavitt scored two goals apiece to lead the Rams (6-0) over McAuley (0-6) at Gorham.

Reagan Emerson, Andrea Stemm, Charlotte Smith, Sarah Jordan and Erin Esty each added a goal for the Rams.

McAuley’s Samantha Witkowski finished with 12 saves.

WESTBROOK 5, NOBLE 1: Lea Hopkins scored the first two goals and the Blue Blazes (1-4-1) beat the Knights (0-5) in North Berwick.

Kerigan Demers added a goal for the Blue Blazes before Delainy Blaisdell scored for the Knights with two minutes left in the half.

Lindsey Hildreth and Maddison LeBeau had second-half goals for Westbrook.

Zoe Shields had one save for Westbrook. Marcie LaRiccia had 10 saves for Noble.

SCARBOROUGH 9, WINDHAM 0: Lily Nygran scored three goals and the Red Storm (6-0) shut out the Eagles (2-4) in Scarborough.

Kristen Murray, Kristen Levesque, Gabby Farino, Ashley Levesque, Maddy Dobecki and Abby Walker scored for Scarborough.

SANFORD 4, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Morgan Champagne scored a pair of goals and Katie Johnson had a pair of assists to lead the Spartans (5-1) to a win over the Red Riots (1-5) in Sanford.

Marissa Nance and Liz Helmreich added one goal apiece for Sanford, which built a 3-0 lead in the opening minutes of the second half.

South Portland got one goal each from Kelby Doyle and Michelle Medici.

Grace Chitam made 15 saves for the Red Riots.

MARSHWOOD 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Hannah Costin scored one goal and had two assists and five players scored for the Hawks (5-1) in a win over the Scots (1-5) in South Berwick.

Mikayla Willey, Cassie MacPherson, Jessica Kimball and Claudia Folger added one goal apiece for the Hawks and Cassidy Smith made two saves to record the shutout.

Girls’ soccer

DEERING 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Simone Lauture scored both goals as Deering (5-1) blanked visiting South Portland (1-4-1).

Lauture scored both goals in the first 14 minutes of the game. Cora Melcher set up the first score and Ewa Varney had an assist on the second.

Emily Mooney earned the shutout with four saves. Emma Russell had 12 saves for the Red Riots.
