A maintenance worker from York Harbor was charged with unlawful sexual touching of a girl attending a church summer camp in York.

The mother of the child told York police on Sept. 17 that the girl was attending York First Parish Church in July when the alleged incident occurred.

The girl said she was touched inappropriately by a maintenance worker in the basement of the church, police said.

Police interviewed the employee, Jason Paciulli, 38, and he admitted to the incident, police said. He was charged with unlawful sexual touching, which is a Class D misdemeanor, and he will have his initial court appearance Nov. 19 in York District Court.

While free on bail, Paciulli is to have no contact with children.
