Rabbi Simeon J. Maslin will read excerpts from his debut novel, “Uncle Sol’s Women,” set largely in midcoast Maine. The story follows the protagonist, Justin Ross, from his birth in Boston, through his academic career at Harvard and the University of Chicago to Harpswell, where he comes under the influence of his wealthy, profligate uncle and falls in love with a beautiful woman from Presque Isle.
