Two of the three men suspected of robbing a Winterport man of his medicinal marijuana while dressed as law enforcement officers have turned themselves in.

Jeffrey Hurd, 47, and Scott Roberts, 35, both of Glenburn, walked into the lobby of the Waldo County Jail about 9 p.m. Wednesday. State police expect to issue an arrest warrant for the third man later this week.

Hurd and Roberts were identified after state police released photos of the brazen robbery this week and received more than three dozen tips from the public, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Both men will be charged with robbery and impersonating a police officer.
