Air Force Airman Ian M. Nappi graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Nappi is the son of Donna Brown and Russell Nappi of Westbrook and is a 2010 graduate of Westbrook High School.
Air Force Airman Jamie T. Rosenberg graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Rosenberg earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Mary Ellen Rosenberg of Harpswell and is a 2011 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School, Topsham.
Maine Homeless Veterans Stand Down, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 17th annual event with a variety of free services and benefits offered including reading glasses, haircuts, food stamps, flu shots and much more. Registration is from 8 to 11 a.m. The event is held at The VA Maine Healthcare System in Togus and free transportation is provided from several locations in the state.
