Maine is becoming a graying state with many seniors who have special needs. We need elected officials who make seniors their priority.

For over 30 years, Diane Denk, Democratic candidate for House District 9 (Kennebunkport and parts of Kennebunk and Biddeford), has volunteered with seniors. She helped for 20 years with Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly, a group that pairs seniors with younger friends. For the past 12 years, she has been a hospice volunteer.

It takes strength and compassion to visit men and women with profound health impairments. Her kindness and caring reassure them and their families that someone is there for them to the end.

We believe these attributes would make Diane an excellent state representative, and we ask you to vote for her Nov. 4.
