Democrat Mike Michaud may be a nice guy, but he probably has little else to offer the state of Maine as governor.

Mr. Michaud arrives with no background in business, economics or technology; a private-sector career with no record of any degree of responsibility or accomplishment, and a long stint in Congress that is a continuation of his private-sector performance, with zero bills passed.

He has “plans” but no viable way to pay for his “plans” or idea what his “plans” will do to Maine’s economy. Look at governments that are struggling with budget deficits and bankruptcy, and you can find Mike’s “plans” at work.

Maine’s budget is over $7.5 billion. If a multibillion-dollar company hires a CEO who is severely lacking in experience, the shareholders bail, the stock tanks and the company crashes. Why will it be different if Mr. Michaud becomes the governor (CEO of Maine)?
