I can certainly understand why someone would not vote for Republican Gov. Paul LePage. More than once, he has given us reason. But Democrat Mike Michaud is not the person to replace LePage as governor.

Michaud has an unimpressive record in Congress, where he has languished for the past dozen years, collecting a generous salary from the taxpayers.

Why should Mainers continue to support such a lackluster candidate? Saying he’s a “nice guy” is not enough.

Ask yourself, “What has he done?” The answer is “nothing,” unless you call his total ignorance of Veterans Affairs shenanigans a plus.

No more career politicians. Let’s start with Mike Michaud. We’ve had our fill.

The only logical choice this November is independent Eliot Cutler.

He deserves his chance. Vote Cutler!
