A Gardiner boy reported missing since the weekend has been found alive and well.

A spokeswoman for Gardiner Police said Tuesday morning that Michael J. Booth, a 14-year-old freshman at Gardiner Area High School, had been found and was safe. The spokeswoman did not say where or when Booth had been found or if he had been returned to his family.

Gardiner police on Monday sought the public’s help in locating the boy, who had been last seen by his parents late Saturday night.

Gardiner police met with all of the high school’s freshman class on Monday morning, but none of Booth’s classmates said they knew of his whereabouts.
