Scarborough High’s Maddy Dobecki was named as one of four finalists for the 2014 Miss Maine Field Hockey Award on Tuesday.

The other finalists are Skowhegan’s Rylie Blanchet, Cony’s Arika Brochu and Mt. View’s Kersey Boulay.

Dobecki, a midfielder, has led Scarborough to a 14-0 record and the top seed in Western Class A.

The Red Storm have outscored their opponents 82-2 this season. She was a Maine Sunday Telegram All-State selection last year.

The award is given annually to the top senior player in the state. The winner will be announced at the Maine Field Hockey Association’s annual banquet, usually held in early December at the Augusta Civic Center.
