CUMBERLAND — Jocelyn Mitiguy and Izzy Hutnak scored first-half goals Wednesday as top-seeded Greely shut out Fryeburg Academy 3-0 in a Western Class B girls’ soccer quarterfinal.

Courtney Sullivan added a second-half goal for the Rangers (12-2-1).

Maddy Cyr stopped three shots for Greely.

Makayla Cooper made eight saves for No. 9 Fryeburg Academy (6-8-2).

WINDHAM 3, PORTLAND 2: Ciera Berthiaume scored two goals, including the winner, as the top-seeded Eagles (14-0-1) rallied from two goals down to beat the ninth-seeded Bulldogs (9-8) in a Western Class A quarterfinal at Windham.

Berthiaume dribbled down the right wing, beat a defender and sent a hard shot by goalie Taylor Crosby in the 76th minute to break the 2-2 tie.

Berthiaume started the rally on a similar goal in the 57th minute before Jenna Soucy tied it about three minutes later.

Madison Bolduc put Portland ahead 1-0 in the 25th minute, and Ella Altidor made it 2-0 eight minutes into the second half.

Crosby finished with 24 saves.

BRUNSWICK 2, MESSALONSKEE 0: Kira Wolpow had a goal and an assist as the second-seeded Dragons (10-3-2) handled the sixth-seeded Eagles (7-6-2) in an Eastern Class A quarterfinal at Brunswick.

Julia Champagne added a goal and Molly Gramins had an assist for Brunswick.

Madeline Brescia had 12 saves in the shutout. Taylor Forster made three saves for Messalonskee.

BANGOR 5, MT. BLUE 1: Top-seeded Bangor (13-0-2) used an early second-half flurry to break open a two-goal game in a victory over No. 9 Mt. Blue (5-9-2) in an Eastern Class A quarterfinal.

Allison Boulier and Eve George paced the Rams with two goals each.

Caitlin Kane scored twice for Mt. Blue.

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, GORHAM 0: Tori Daigle and Haley DaGraca combined for all three goals as the No. 4 Trojans (13-2) shut out the fifth-seeded Rams (11-5) in a Western Class A quarterfinal at Saco.

DaGraca assisted on Daigle’s two first-half goals, the first with 33:18 left as Daigle knocked it past the diving Gorham goalkeeper. Her second came as DaGraca crossed the ball to Daigle, who beat the keeper to the lower left corner with 3:47 remaining in the half.

Daigle set up DaGraca in the final seconds of the half as she hit a rocket in the left side of the net.

Renae Staples and Emma Smith split time in net for Gorham, combining for 10 saves.

Lexi Nason had seven saves for Thornton Academy.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 1, YORK 0: Lillian Bisset scored with an assist from Sophie Schumacher with 31:26 remaining in regulation as the fourth-seeded Eagles (9-3-3) edged the Wildcats (7-6-2) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Newcastle.

The lone goal came off a corner.

Miranda Achorn made 10 saves in the shutout.

Emma Rohrer and Kelsie Cole split time in the net for York, combining for five saves.

YARMOUTH 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Katie Clemmer had three goals, two set up by Eavan O’Neill, as the second-seeded Clippers (9-3-3) handled the 10th-seeded Patriots (8-7-1) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Yarmouth.

O’Neill also assisted Sarah D’Appolonia on Yarmouth’s other goal.

Gray-New Gloucester’s Zoe Adams made seven saves and broke up several other scoring chances.

CAMDEN HILLS 1, MDI 0: Emma Gutheinz scored 35 minutes in the second half to lift the visiting Windjammers (12-3-1) over the Trojans (11-4-1) in an Eastern Class B quarterfinal.

Mt. Desert Island outshot Camden Hills, 12-6.

HERMON 6, ERSKINE 0: The host Hawks (14-1) got three goals from Claire Peterson, two from Brianna Saulter and one from Alex Allain in beating the Eagles (8-4-4) in an Eastern Class B quarterfinal.

SACOPEE VALLEY 2, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 1: Courtney Ryan scored the winner in the second half as the seventh-seeded Hawks (10-2-3) upset the second- seeded Mustangs (12-2-1) in a Western Class C quarterfinal at South Hiram.

Abby Hughes, who set up the winner, scored the tying goal with 7:15 remaining in regulation with an assist from McKenzie Murphy.

Madison Day had four saves for Sacopee Valley, and Mikayla Cameron made 12 saves for Monmouth Academy.

MARANACOOK 1, ST. DOMINIC 0: Sarah Clough scored on a direct kick from about 20 yards out with 17:18 left in regulation as the No. 5 Black Bears (12-3-1) shut out the Saints (12-4) in a Western Class C quarterfinal at Auburn.
