Much is made of the fact that Republican Gov. Paul LePage and independent Eliot Cutler are businessmen. I like the idea of somebody graduating from high school, punching a time clock for nearly 30 years and still making time to serve the citizens of the state of Maine. This is what Democratic U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud has done.
Much is made about how “smart” Eliot Cutler is. The “smart” thing would have been to run for governor as a Democrat. He would rather lose as an independent. How smart is that?
