I urge you to join me in voting for Democrat Mike Michaud as our next governor.
I’ve known Mike for 25 years and had the chance to watch him up close in his role as a state legislator in the 1980s and 1990s, including his time as chair of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, as chair of the Appropriations Committee and as Maine Senate president.
I knew Mike over those years as a consensus-builder, not a partisan divider, as a wise and informed decision-maker, as a listener and as a leader. His years in Congress have given him invaluable experience with the complex federal-state issues facing Maine, including veterans issues, Medicare and Social Security.
We need this kind of person in the Blaine House. Please vote Mike Michaud for governor Nov. 4!
