Linda Valentino retained her seat as the District 31 representative in the Maine Senate.

With final totals available Wednesday, Valentino, 58, a Democrat from Saco, received 60 percent of the votes. She is co-owner of  a sod farm and previously served four terms in the Maine House.

Michael Coleman, 54, a former town councilor from Old Orchard Beach, ran for the seat as a Republican and got 40 percent of the votes.

The district includes Saco, Old Orchard Beach, Hollis, Limington and part of Buxton.
