Falmouth: The Yachtsmen reached the West finals last year and return several standouts from that team, including forwards Camden Carrier, Evie Clement and Sarah Hutcheon, defenseman Martina St. Angelo and goalie Ally Hurdman.

Greely: The Rangers return all but two players from a team that lost in the East semifinals, 1-0 to Lewiston. Big scorer Danita Storey is back, along with Maura Verrill, Ellie Schad and Maura Perry, and the Rangers have added some strong freshmen.

Scarborough: The Red Storm won their first state title last year with a 21-0 record. Defending will be a challenge. Three of their four All-State players are gone, leaving Sami Shoebottom as the biggest threat. Defenseman Lily Nygruen is also back.

Yarmouth/Freeport/Gray-New Gloucester: The Clippers had their most successful season with a 14-5-1 record and look for more, with All-State defenseman Michelle Robichaud and forward Emily Johnson back, along with fellow seniors Katie Brown and Hannah Williams.

Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland: After a first-time playoff berth, the Capers return most of their team, including seniors Lily Jordan (goalie) and Kathryn Clark (forward). Hannah Bosworth is also an offensive threat.
