BANGOR — Liz Wood scored 25 points as the University of Maine women’s basketball team earned its fourth straight win, beating Harvard 65-46 at the Cross Insurance Center on Sunday.

Wood added nine rebounds and four steals for Maine (5-3) which went on a 21-5 run to end the first half and take control.

Sigi Koizar added 14 points for Maine.

Annemarie Healy had 13 points for Harvard (4-4).

ST. JOSEPH’S 77, UMAINE- FORT KENT 47: Twelve players scored for the Monks (6-2), who beat the Bengals (5-3) in Standish.

Morgan Cahill led all scorers with 18 points, while Brianne Malone had 10 points and six rebounds.

Bobbi Myles scored 17 points for UMFK.

ALABAMA 53, (12) NEBRASKA 51: Nikki Hegstetter scooped a loose ball off the floor to score with less than two seconds to play, and Alabama (8-3) survived a missed final shot to upset Nebraska (7-1) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

(13) KENTUCKY 77, (7) LOUISVILLE 68: Janee Thompson scored 19 points and Jennifer O’Neill added 17 to help Kentucky (8-1) beat host Louisville (8-1).

(14) TENNESSEE 85, LIPSCOMB 51: Cierra Burdick and Isabelle Harrison scored 16 points apiece to lead Tennessee (6-2) to its first road victory of the season, a rout of Lipscomb (2-7) in Nashville, Tennessee.

(15) MARYLAND 81, TOWSON 52: Brionna Jones had 17 points and eight rebounds and Maryland (7-2) cruised past Towson in College Park, Maryland.

(18) RUTGERS 64, (25) ARKANSAS 52: Kahleah Copper scored 17 points, Betnijah Laney added 12 with 11 rebounds and Rutgers (7-1) pushed past Arkansas (6-2) in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

(19) GEORGIA 69, (16) MICHIGAN STATE 60: Tiaria Griffin scored 15 points, including four free throws in the final minute, and Georgia (10-0), which led by 23 points in the first half, held off Michigan State (5-2) in Athens, Georgia.

(22) IOWA 78, COLORADO 63: Melissa Dixon had five 3-pointers with 23 points, Bethany Doolittle had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Iowa (7-2) knocked off Colorado (6-2) in Iowa City, Iowa.

NORWICH 1, BOWDOIN 0: Kayice Anderson scored in the first period as the Cadets (8-1-1) beat the Polar Bears (3-1-2) in Brunswick.

Loren Carrier had 19 saves for Norwich, while Lan Crofton made 27 saves for Bowdoin.
