The election system has me in a state of great disgust because of all the money being spent, much of it at the expense of taxpayers!
When people who already hold elected office come to Maine to stump for candidates running for office of a particular party, I believe it is not in the best interests for the people of Maine. I find it particularly disturbing when our president and potential presidential “wannabes” practice this, and it lowers my esteem of these people.
It is even more disastrous when the stumping is for a know-nothing, do-nothing candidate!
