KENNEBUNK — Matt McDevitt made three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points, and Greely held off a late charge by Kennebunk to secure a 48-41 win in a Western Maine Conference boys’ basketball game Friday night.

McDevitt made all of his 3-pointers in the first half as Greely (2-1) built a 23-17 halftime lead. The Rangers extended the margin to 14 points going into the fourth quarter.

Zachary MacKinnon scored 13 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter for Kennebunk. He made four 3-pointers.

Jordan Tebbs added 10 points for Greely.

CAPE ELIZABETH 70, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 48: Justin Guerette scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures as the Capers (2-0) handled the Patriots (1-1) at Gray.

Jack O’Rourke knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points, Edward Galvin tossed in 13 points and Ethan Murphy added 11.

Andreas Kariotis led Gray-New Gloucester with 15 points. Zack Haskell had 11 points and 10 boards.

CHEVERUS 59, THORNTON ACADEMY 51: Jack Casale scored 18 points as the Stags (2-1) edged the Golden Trojans (0-2) at Saco.

Jesse Matthews contributed 10 points for Cheverus.

Kevin Barrett scored 21 points and Ben Lambert tossed in 13 for Thornton.

WINDHAM 66, SCARBOROUGH 59: Kevin Weisser scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Marcus D’Andrea added 17 points to lift the Eagles (2-1) over the Red Storm (2-1) at Windham.

Windham took control in the third quarter, outscoring Scarborough 19-8 to open a 45-33 lead.

Scarborough was paced by Milani Hicks, who scored 29 points. Jacob Gardner chipped in with 15.

PORTLAND 71, MARSHWOOD 63: Stephen Alex and Amir Moss scored six points apiece in the fourth quarter to help Portland (3-0) hold off Marshwood (0-3) at South Berwick.

Moss led the Bulldogs with 19 points, followed by Alex with 18 and Liam Densmore with 15.

Drew Bartlett netted 18 for the Hawks. Ryan O’Neil added 14.

DEERING 67, NOBLE 42: Malik White scored 20 points and Benedict Williams added 18 to lead Deering (3-0) over visiting Noble (0-3).

Garang Majok chipped in with 14 points.

Nolan Smeeton scored 19 points for the Knights.

BONNY EAGLE 62, SANFORD 49: Ben Malloy scored 19 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead the Scots (2-1) past the Spartans (0-3) at Sanford.

Zach Dubiel added 11 points, including three 3-pointers in the second quarter as the Scots built a 41-24 halftime lead.

Sanford was led by Harris Layn with 19 points and Bryan Bouchard with 13.

BIDDEFORD 57, MASSABESIC 54: Patrick Pearl scored 13 of his 21 points at the free-throw line as Biddeford (1-2) rallied to defeat Massabesic (0-2) at Waterboro.

The Tigers, who were 0-18 last season, overcame a 42-36 deficit after three quarters.

Daniel Amabile led the Mustangs with 16 points and Josh Daigle added 10.

LAKE REGION 63, YORK 59: The Lakers (1-1) were 23 for 37 at the free-throw line as they held off the Wildcats (1-2) at York.

Nate Smith scored 15 points and Quinn Piland added 14 for the Lakers, who led 47-28 after three quarters.

York’s Zane Insko finished with 23 points, including five 3-pointers.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 62, FREEPORT 44: Ryan Gullickson scored 29 points to lead Fryeburg (2-1) in a win over the Falcons (0-3) at Freeport.

Jack Davenport paced the Falcons with 19 points.

SACOPEE VALLEY 50, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 41: William Goforth scored 11 points to pace Sacopee Valley (1-2) in a win over the Seagulls (0-2) at Old Orchard Beach.

Old Orchard Beach got 15 points from Evan Christensen and 11 rebounds from Joe Anderson.

WAYNFLETE 82, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 37: Harry Baker-Connick and Milo Belleau each scored 11 points in the first quarter to get Waynflete (3-0) started in a win over NYA (1-1) at Portland.

Baker-Connick and Belleau finished with 18 points apiece.

Eoin Anderson paced the Panthers with 16 points.

MORSE 75, BELFAST 63: Ethan Winglass scored 32 points and Keegan McDonough had 23 for the Shipbuilders (3-0) in a win over the Lions (0-3) at Bath.

BOOTHBAY REGION 51, MADISON 46: John Hepburn scored 15 points as the Seahawks (3-0) held off the Bulldogs (3-1) at Boothbay Harbor.

TEMPLE ACADEMY 55, A.R. GOULD 45: Bradley Smith scored 20 points as Temple (1-1) topped A.R. Gould (1-2) at South Portland.

Gage Barton led A.R. Gould with 15 points.
