Three people were arrested in connection with the theft of items from an apartment in Parsonsfield that was vacated late last month by tenants who had lost their power, police said Saturday.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said the tenants left their apartment at 80 Federal Road after they lost power on Nov. 26. They returned the next day, Thanksgiving, to discover that someone had broken in and taken $1,200 worth of electronics and musical instruments.

Sheriff’s deputies investigated and obtained a search warrant after they determined another tenant at the apartment complex may have been responsible. They arrested and charged Michael Taylor, 22, with burglary, Kearstie St. Saviour, 24, with receiving stolen property, and Eva Cram, 20, with unlawful possession of heroin.

Taylor and St. Saviour are being held on $1,500 bail and Cram on $500 bail at the York County Jail in Alfred. They are scheduled to appear at Springvale District Court on Dec. 13.
