I am upset that the new management of the Portland Press Herald is taking away a 65-year-old tradition of the Bruce Roberts Toy Fund, where I am a volunteer.
Changing the name of this toy fund to your selfish advertisement “Portland Press Herald Toy Fund” distracts from the original intention and causes confusion about the authenticity of this charity.
Our check/donation to this charity was made out to “Bruce Roberts Toy Fund” in protest.
