The family of the late pianist Frank Glazer is planning a spring celebration of his life at Bates College and is seeking anecdotes and remembrances.

Glazer, artist in residence at Bates for 35 years, died Tuesday at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. He was 99.

Glazer will be buried in a private ceremony close to his late wife, Ruth, in the Kezar Falls Burial Ground in Porter. Bates will host a public celebration in the spring.
