GARLAND – A 27-year-old Maine man has been indicted on three charges of murder in the strangulation deaths of his girlfriend and her two young children.

Keith Coleman of Garland is charged in connection with the deaths of 36-year-old Christina Sargent, 10-year-old Duwayne Coke and 8-year-old Destiny Sargent.

WZON-AM reported he was indicted Wednesday. He has not entered a plea and a court date has not been set.

Investigators say the three bodies were found Dec. 20 in a Garland mobile home Coleman shared with the victims.

Coleman appeared in a Bangor court on Dec. 22 and was ordered held without bail.

Court-appointed attorney Martha Harris, who represented Coleman during his first court appearance, has not returned phone calls about the case.
