I have been meaning for some time to compliment all of you on the interesting newspapers you produce in these difficult times for print journalism. Seven days a week, I find engaging and sometimes compelling articles and photographs. Kudos to all who make this possible.
What finally spurred me to write, however, was the kindness of your delivery people. Tuesday morning, in the middle of the blizzard, I found our newspaper tied to the front doorknob so it wouldn’t blow away (or be buried till the next thaw).
And Wednesday morning, it had been placed on the front step instead of at the foot of the driveway.
What a treat to find all the articles and photos about the storm, potential University of Southern Maine presidents and a Super Bowl snack stadium.
Thanks for all the good work.
