BRUNSWICK — Shannon Brady had 21 points and nine rebounds, and Bowdoin College won its 15th straight in women’s basketball on Saturday, 60-51 over NESCAC rival Amherst.

Megan Phelp added nine points and 11 rebounds for the Polar Bears (18-2, 6-0), who beat the Jeffs (17-2, 4-2) for the first time since 2009.

COLBY 60, TRINITY 42: Carylanne Wolfington went 5 for 7 from beyond the arc and finished with 19 points as the Mules (13-5, 3-3 NESCAC) defeated the Bantams (6-12, 1-5) at Waterville.

CONN. COLLEGE 74, BATES 47: Nina Davenport had 25 points for the Bobcats (9-10, 0-6 NESCAC) in a loss at Connecticut College (14-5, 4-2).

ST. JOSEPH’S 75, SIMMONS 60: Morgan Cahill scored 16 points, Norma Waggett had 12 off the bench, and St. Joseph’s (12-5, 4-1) downed Simmons (4-13, 0-4) at Standish.

UNE 77, EASTERN NAZARENE 55: Michaela Flanagan had 22 points and seven boards, and UNE (15-4, 11-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference) dominated the host Lions (6-11, 5-6) in the second half.

SMCC 74: DEAN COLLEGE 65: Amira Jones had 18 points and 14 rebounds, Abigail Nielsen also scored 18 and the Seawolves (14-7) held off the Bulldogs (10-3) at South Portland.

KEENE STATE 68, USM 57: Ella Ramonas scored 17 points for Southern Maine (9-10, 5-4 Little East Conference) in a loss to the Owls (12-8, 4-5) at Gorham.

AMHERST 81, BOWDOIN 66: Lucas Hausman had 19 points for the Polar Bears (13-6, 4-3) in a loss at Amherst (14-5, 4-3).

ANNA MARIA 105, ST. JOSEPH’S 104: Steve Simonds scored 37 points and drained seven 3-pointers for the Monks (8-9, 6-5 GNAC) in an overtime loss at Anna Maria (11-7, 10-2).

KEENE STATE 84, USM 65: Tom Doyle scored 28 points as the Owls (15-4, 6-3 LEC) rolled at Gorham. Jacob Littlefield and Cole Libby each scored 18 for Southern Maine (4-14, 1-8).

DEAN COLLEGE 82, SMCC 70: Devin Stallings scored 20 points as the Bulldogs (13-2) handled the host Seawolves (17-2). SMCC’s Alexander Hartford had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

EASTERN NAZARENE 85, UNE 70: Jaylen Owens scored 21 points as the Lions (16-2, 9-2 CCC) beat the Nor’easters (5-14, 3-9) at Quincy, Massachusetts.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

MAINE 3, UNH 0: The Black Bears (10-12-3, 9-5-1 Hockey East) scored three times in the third and Meghann Treacy made 36 saves to blank the host Wildcats (7-18-1, 4-10-0).

UNE 1, PLYMOUTH STATE 1: Gabby Crugnale scored, Sydney Helmbrecht made 31 saves, and the Nor’easters (4-11-4, 1-8-2 ECAC East) earned a tie at Plymouth State (3-15-2, 3-8-1).

USM 4, NEC 2: Ally Vanidestine, Lynn Kozlowski and Julia Pearl scored third-period goals to rally the Huskies (6-11-1, 4-6-1 ECAC East) at New England College (1-17-1, 1-9-1).

WILLIAMS 5, BOWDOIN 1: Gwendolyn Schultz had a hat trick for the Ephs (8-7-2, 5-3-2 NESCAC), and Jessica Bowen scored for visiting Bowdoin (8-6-4, 4-4-2).
