Five people were taken to hospitals Tuesday night after two cars collided in the area of 280 Tandberg Trail in Windham.
Sgt. William Andrew said a car driven by a 23-year-old Raymond man hit a car driven by a 36-year-old woman from Windham. Their names were not available Tuesday night.
Andrew said five people were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating whether alcohol or speed might have been factors in the crash.
The accident was reported at 7 p.m.
