Max Winson scored the tiebreaking goal with 8:16 remaining, and South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete edged Windham 3-1 in a Western Class A boys’ hockey game Tuesday morning at Troubh Ice Arena.

Andrew Whipple scored two goals for the Red Riots (10-7), including an empty-netter, and Kyle Halvorsen had two assists. Jason Halvorsen made 21 saves.

Windham (6-9-2) got a power-play goal from Keegan Pock.

KENNEBUNK 3, GARDINER 2: Pat Gassman scored with 47 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Rams (13-2-2) over the Tigers (7-11) at Hallowell.

Jan Rutrle scored two goals for Kennebunk, including the equalizer with 2:25 left in regulation. His first goal, a short-handed tally, put the Rams ahead early in the second period.

Gardiner got goals from Reid Cotnoir in the second and Sloan Berthiaume in the third.

CAMDEN HILLS 3, GREELY 1: Luke Noonan scored the go-ahead goal 1:36 into the third period to lift the Windjammers (13-4) past the Rangers (2-14-1) at Falmouth.

Camden Hills took the lead 1:24 into the second on a goal by Matt Prescott. Jack Saffian tied it for the Rangers with 1:40 left in the period.

Austin Gallant had two assists for Camden Hills and James Annis added an empty-net goal with 25 seconds left.

Camden Hills goalie Zach Hand made 19 saves. Kyle Kramlich stopped 30 shots for Greely.

BRUNSWICK 3, CONY/MONMOUTH 2: Jerrod Parent had a goal and two assists to lead the host Dragons (11-7).

Brunswick built a 3-0 lead before Cony/Monmouth got third-period goals from Dakota Benson and Avery Pomerleau.

Dalton Bowie stopped 31 shots for the Rams (5-12). Devin Allard made 20 saves for the Dragons.

CHEVERUS 5, PORTLAND/DEERING 0: Luke Trickey and James Hannigan scored two goals apiece to lead the Stags (10-5-2) past Portland/Deering (7-10) at Troubh Ice Arena.

After a scoreless first period, the Stags got two goals from Trickey in the second.

Jesse Cyr-Brophy also scored and James Kane had two assists.
