Dec. 27, 2014, photo by Jill Brady/Staff Photographer; historic photo courtesy of McArthur Library in Biddeford
The Marble Block at 129 Main St. in downtown Biddeford was only 13 years old when this photograph was taken in 1890. Engine, a local arts nonprofit, is currently undertaking renovations of the building to create new exhibition and work spaces (read our July 2013 story about the project).
The historic photograph is a digitally scanned negative from the collection of McArthur Library in Biddeford. Find more photos at www.pressherald.com/flashback/.
