Several Maine companies were recently awarded federal contracts totaling $20.2 million for work on military projects, according to a news release. They are:

• Colby Co. LLC in Portland won a contract valued at up to $10 million from the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, for structural engineering services for primary structure repairs in New England;

• Oak Point Associates in Biddeford won a contract valued at up to $10 million from the same command for multidisciplinary architectural and engineering services in support of industrial projects in New England;

• Rockland Marine in Rockland won a $183,500 contract from the U.S. Coast Guard’s Surface Forces Logistics Center in California for dry dock repairs to the USCGC Shackle.

• CMC & Maintenance Inc. in Bangor won a $39,509 contract from the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service in Ohio for the complete overhaul of refrigeration and chilling equipment at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Indianapolis.
