Theodore “Teddy” Brown raises his glass to St. Patrick’s Day in this photograph that ran on the front page of the March 17, 1953, Portland Press Herald. According to the original caption, “Teddy says he’s 72 ‘by all accounts’ and still works longshore. He came to this country from Galway in 1902.”
