HARRISON — A fire has destroyed a mobile home in Harrison and two residents were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The fire in the home on Plains Road was reported at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

A married couple made it out, but they were taken to the hospital to be checked out for smoke inhalation. The wife also had some sort of arm injury.

Firefighters arriving at the scene found flames already shooting out the back of the home.

Firefighters from seven area departments responded.

The home is considered a total loss.

A cause has not been determined, but investigators say it appears to have started in the living room.
