Portland police say a bicyclist was hit by a car on Cumberland Avenue on Thursday afternoon, but the man’s injuries didn’t appear to be serious.
Lt. Mike Jones said the accident near Franklin Towers was reported around 5 p.m. The 22-year-old bicyclist was treated at the scene. His injuries appeared to be minor and the man did not have to be hospitalized, Jones said.
The driver of the car has not been charged.
