Maine Red Claws point guard Tim Frazier will sign with Portland for the rest of the season, Trail Blazers’ President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey announced Monday.

Frazier, named the NBA Development League player of the week on Monday (his third award this year), previously had two stints with Philadelphia this season. The 24-year-old guard signed two 10-day contracts with the 76ers, where he averaged 5.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists in six games.

With the Red Claws, Frazier averaged 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 41 games this season. He’s had four triple-doubles.

The Red Claws are 33-14 this season and have clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Maine has three road games remaining on its schedule before the playoffs begin.

ROCKETS: Guard Patrick Beverley will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist and will miss the remainder of the season.
