CASCO — The Sebago Lake State Park boat launch is renovated and reopened.

The Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands says boaters will have better ability to launch and retrieve their crafts this year. The renovations include a wider concrete ramp. The launch averages about 1,700 boats per season. It is available to for boaters who pay a fee of up to $5 at the park entrance booth.

Most of Sebago Lake is under ice right now. Boaters and fishermen can access the Songo River and the mouth of the river on the north end of Sebago Lake.
