Maine Game Wardens are offering a $500 reward for information leading to whoever is still dumping 5-gallon buckets of dirty diapers along streams in Wilton and Farmington.
More than 24 buckets of have been found so far, according to a Facebook post Wednesday by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. After an hour, the post on the reward had more than 40 likes and had been shared more than 60 times.
When asking for the public’s help on the littering case last week, the wardens said they had found 16 of the bright orange Home Depot buckets in the two Franklin County streams.
Game wardens asked that anyone with information call 1-800-452-4664.
