A Portland teenager arrested Friday for allegedly shooting a 20-year-old Standish man is expected to make an initial court appearance on Tuesday, according to an official at the Cumberland County Jail.

Portland police charged Christopher McMann, 18, with reckless conduct with a firearm after he allegedly fired several shots outside of his home at 111 Elizabeth Road. One of those shots hit Daniel Trimble-Smith, 20, of Standish, who has since been released from Maine Medical Center.

No one else was injured when another shot penetrated the wall of a nearby home that was occupied at the time.

McMann was being held at Cumberland County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Reckless conduct with a firearm is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
