Monday night’s game between the Portland Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets at Hadlock Field was suspended in the bottom of the second inning because of rain.

The game, which is tied 2-2, will be completed Tuesday, before the regularly-scheduled Tuesday night game.

The suspended game will be resumed at 5 p.m. The second game (which will be seven innings) will begin shortly after the completion of the previous game.

Monday night’s festivities began with an appearance by New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler and the Super Bowl XLIX Lombardi Trophy. Butler threw out the first pitch and later signed autographs for the fans.
